Mary Chalaby is a Brisbane-based music teacher, performer, composer and arranger. Mary graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Music (Honours) – with an extended major in Classical Piano Performance. Her Honours thesis explored the art of creating solo piano arrangements.

 
Mary has been teaching piano and music theory for 11 years and she also loves teaching violin, flute and voice. She is now the teacher, owner and director of Koala Keys Music School. 

Mary’s teaching goal for her students is for them to become dedicated music students, grow in their love and knowledge of their instrument and develop a life-long love of music. She is dedicated to providing a high-quality, fun and creative learning experience by integrating a variety of teaching methods, activities, positive performance experiences and technology to give students the most comprehensive music education available. 

Mary is plays in the music band at her Church and she also loves to play with her sisters and friends.

When not musically occupied, Mary loves to spend time with her family and friends, going on long walks, cooking and baking, and doing lots crafts.
