1. Lesson Availability  

  1. Lessons are scheduled in accordance with the QLD state school-term dates, which reserves the student a specific time slot for the entire term: 10-week terms.  
  2. Lessons during the school term vacations periods can be scheduled separately and will depend on my (the teacher/director) scheduling and availably. 
  3. Lessons are available for all ages 4 and up in Piano and theory (beginner to advanced), Violin, Flute and Voice (beginner to intermediate levels) 

2. Lesson Content
  1. Lessons are catered individually for each students to be the best fit for the student and what their goals and likes are. 
  2. We emphasise high standards and have a good foundation in all aspects of music learning while having fun and enjoying every minute. So it's all about the FUNdations of music here! Pun intended!! 
  3. We learn notation reading, playing chords, playing by ear, playing lead sheets, improvisation, arranging, composing,  strong musical foundations, good technique and lots more. 
  4. We learn through fun songs and music games. We play music that you want to learn and you get introduced to a lot of new variety of songs.
  5.  You can learn for fun and leisure and if you can enrol in Eisteddfod  and AMEB exams. Our students consistently achieve very high marks and achievements. 
  6. We have lots friendly and relaxed opportunities for performances with our student concerts and in studio performances.   

3. Lesson Fees 

  1. The lesson fees for in-person and online lesson fees are the same. The lesson fees for all instruments are the same. 
  2. Lesson fees cover your lesson time, and the behind the scene time that your teacher spends for lesson preparation, creating your individualised lesson plan, creating and finding resources for your lesson and administration of the lessons. 
  3. Lessons are invoiced in blocks of 2 or 5 or 10 lessons and the fee is due in advance. So there is lots of flexible options (please ask Mary for more info)
  4. The tuition rate for 5 or 10 block lessons paid in advance are $40 per 30 min, $60 per 45 min, and $80 per 60 min. lessons. 

5. First Free lesson 

Koala Keys Music School would like to invite you to join our music family. I'd love to meet you and offer you your first FREE lesson. This is a special meet and greet session where we explore your chosen instrument (or help you find which one that would be) and start learning. You'll learn your first notes and songs in your first lesson.
